**Important Note for Our Bees Varroa Mite Awareness**
Our beloved bee friends, we must address an urgent matter concerning the recent detection of Varroa mite in New South Wales in June 2022.
It's important to be aware that the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) has designated "red zones" to attempt the eradication of varroa mite. Unfortunately, history has shown that no country has ever successfully eradicated Varroa mite once it establishes itself.
Our hearts ache for the millions of bees lost in these efforts. We mourn their sacrifice and recognize the gravity of the situation.
As we navigate these challenging times, we remain dedicated to raising awareness about the critical role bees play in our ecosystem and the importance of supporting their health and well-being.
