Improve Land & Water Management

Swales are a powerful tool for capturing rainwater, slowing runoff, and preventing erosion. By learning to build them, you’ll create a self-sustaining water system that nourishes plants, recharges groundwater, and enhances soil fertility—key principles in regenerative agriculture.

Support a Thriving Ecosystem

Beyond water management, swales contribute to a healthier environment by filtering pollutants, reducing drought stress, and creating habitat for beneficial organisms. Our hands-on workshop will give you practical experience in designing and implementing swales that align with nature’s rhythms.

WHAT OUR VISITORS SAY

No one can leave this tour without being inspired! The scale and unique diversity of the food forest  blew our minds, almost as much as the deep knolwedge shared by James, our guide. The food that was prepared from the site by Andrea was delicious and also proved a wonderful discussion point. This is the type of learning that you can only get from people who have intentionally put in the hard yards towards a sustainable food future. Highly recommend!
